Year 1 enjoyed a walk around Harbury as part of their local area topic. Before setting off, they mapped out their route and used it to guide them on their trail through the village. Along the way, they identified various landmarks and learned about the history of Harbury. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore their local area and connect with its heritage. They showed such respect and curiosity throughout the walk, earning them a whole class ‘Love, Learn, and Grow’ award.
We would like to thank Bill Timson and the Heritage Group volunteers for leading the walk and sharing their knowledge. Their support has been invaluable to our learning, and we greatly appreciate their time and effort.
